Plan to participate in or plan your visit to coincide with one of Tuktoyaktuk’s annual events:

January, February, March
New Year’s community feast celebration followed by drum dancing and square dancing.
Valentine’s day dinner followed by games night
Easter egg hunt for the whole family

April, May, June, July
Annual Beluga Jamboree and Baby Beluga Jamboree (4 day event) indoor and outdoor games, talent shows, jigging contests, drum dancing and square dancing.
Annual fishing derby followed by a community feast
Canada Day Celebrations (July 1st) include: canoe races, foot races, tug of war, harpoon throw, jigging contest and outdoor cookout.

August, September, October
Land of the Pingos Music Festival, local artists and headliner perform for the community
includes drum dances, square dances, jigging contests and more.
Annual Terry Fox Run followed by a light snack and group photos at the Kitti hall.
Haunted House, Halloween parade along with games for the whole family.

November and December
Christmas Craft Sale – local craft persons and artists sell their goods at the Kitti Hall.
